Michael F. Coia - Chief Executive Officer

Michael Coiaholds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and in 1981 received a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Duke University. He is an environmental engineer who has more than 25 years management and engineering experience running an environmental contracting company and directing construction and reclamation programs. His recent technical experience involves the development of innovative renewable energy processing systems, including oilseed processing and biodiesel production.

John Burfeindt - Chief Financial Officer

John Burfeindtis a registered Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He has more than 40 years diverse experience in corporate management and finance. In his role as CFO, he has direct responsibility for finance, manufacturing, banking relations, purchasing, subcontracting services, human resources, administration and product development. He also owns a regional high quality candy manufacturer and is an entrepreneur who has purchased and sold several companies over the years.

Bernie Klaverkamp - Engineering Manager

has more than 40 years experience in project management, project engineering and production design engineering for industrial processing and municipal waste treatment facilities, dredge sediments and solid wastes, collection and transfer systems trash to steam facilities and other systems. As our Corporate Engineering Manager, he oversees the design engineering and site development efforts for our renewable energy facilities. He is directing the engineering and design activities for our soybean and canola crushing facilities and biodiesel production plants.

Paul Linnan - Regulatory Affairs Manager

has extensive experience in development of environmental regulations and implementation of environmental enforcement in the public sector. The bulk of Mr. Linnan's experience was developed during nearly 35 years of management experience with the the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and its predecessors. With his extensive experience and hands-on knowledge of regulatory affairs, he provides the Company with direct access to regulatory decision makers for our programs. He is responsible for our Corporate Compliance.

Michael Palumbo - Regional Business Development

has more than 30 years of experience in site selection and real estate project development work. Hejoined Flaum Management Co. Inc. in 1998 as Vice-President of Acquisitions. He currently holds the title of Chief Operating Officer and handles the day-to-day operations of the company. Prior to joining Flaum Management, he served as an Associate Broker at CB Richard Ellis. Mr. Palumbo was a founding member of the Rochester Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors. He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors and the International Association of Shopping Centers. As ourRegional Business Development Manager, he is responsible for client development, legislative liaison and site development opportunities for Seneca BioEnergy. Flaum and Seneca BioEnergy are partnered at the Seneca Depot for our renewable and environmental sustainability efforts. Flaum Management is the managing partner in Seneca Depot LLC, the owner of the former Seneca Army Depot.

Jeff Warren - Regional Business Development

is the Managing Member of Top Quality Hay Processors, LLC, which is a Corporate Partner of Seneca BioEnergy, LLC. Top Quality Hay Processors is revolutionizing the way that hay is processed through a Patent Pending Process that reduces the usual 4.5 to 5 days of rain free, low-humidity days to dry hay to just under 4 hours from start to finish. Mr. Warren is a Partner in Lake To Lake Hay, Inc., which developed the process for Top Quality Hay Processors. President of Warren Financial Group, a financial planning firm in South Florida, for 20 years, he also is President of the American Institute of Retirement Planning and President of Miracle Products, a manufacturer of rust removing and rust inhibitor products. He will assist Seneca BioEnergy in business development for regional agriculture businesses.

Applied Reclamation Techniques, LLC & Partners

Applied Reclamation Techniques, LLC is the Pennsylvania-based parent company of Seneca BioEnergy, LLC. Mr. Coia established the company more than seven years ago as an environmental consulting contractor, emphasizing ecosystem restoration, environmental construction and renewable energy production. The company was expanded in 2006 to include agricultural experts, energy professionals and financial managers, who serve as the corporate arm of our renewable energy and environmental sustainability operations. Some of Applied Reclamation Techniques' corporate partners are listed below:

Dennis L. Grumbine – Corporate Agricultural Commodities Group Manager was born and raised on a crop and livestock farm in Lebanon County, Pa., and never has strayed far from his agribusiness roots. He and his sons own and operate D. L. Grumbine and Sons, primarily a farming crop operation comprising 400 acres in the Myerstown area. Today, he is a recognized expert in Pennsylvania agriculture, and is involved with many regional agricultural commodities activities. As Corporate Agricultural Commodities Group Manager, he directs marketing and production activities for agricultural commodities bought and sold by our Company.

Harold Harpster, Ph.D. – Agricultural Commodities Quality Assurance Manager holds numerous degrees and has served in numerous academic capacities in the areas of Animal Nutrition and Animal Science. He is a professor of Animal Science at Penn State University, serving since 1978 and is one of the most influential national experts in animal nutrition. He will establish a Quality Assurance program for the agricultural commodities produced by our AgBio facility, and will develop appropriate soy and canola meal products that achieve nutritional requirements for poultry and dairy feeds, working closely with our regional customers and the production staff to ensure continuous quality control.

Leon Randalls – Technology Research and Development Manager has more than 27 years of experience in technology research and development, and operating business development for environmental and pollution control technologies. He has been involved in the design process and corporate development to integrate anaerobic digestion and landfill gases to be used in thermal and plasma processing of waste and the formation of methanol, resulting in his award of Patent No. 4,339,456. He works on collaborative arrangements with research institutions such as Penn State, Cornell University and Rochester Institute of Technology to develop new biodiesel and cellulosic ethanol processes and demonstrate their commercial applications at our facilities.

Bryce Payne, Ph.D. – Corporate Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager received his MS and Ph.D. degrees in Soil Science from Colorado State University in 1989 and has more than 20 years experience in agronomy, soil science and soils geochemistry, emphasizing projects to rehabilitate sites and improve environmental quality. He is a recognized expert in soil agronomy, and he has a long standing working relationship with numerous environmental stewardship groups in Pennsylvania. He directs our scientific research and our chemical quality control efforts.

Randy McKillop – Pennsylvania Government Affairs Manager has more than 10 years of governmental relations and consulting experience with clients who have an interest in lobbying Pennsylvania governmental officials. As a Partner of McKillop and Associates Inc., which has more than 36 years corporate experience on Capital Hill in Harrisburg, Pa., he manages the day-to-day operations of the company's lobbying efforts. His efforts have allowed us to become recognized as a leader in the Pennsylvania renewable energy package that the Gov. Edward G. Rendell has put into motion.

Philip Beckley – Public Relations Manager holds a bachelor's degree from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa. He worked for more than 35 years at the Finger Lakes Times newspaper in Geneva, N.Y. He was publisher of the newspaper for many years after serving as an editor and a reporter. He is president of Geneva Growth Inc., a board member of Geneva Country Club and is active in many other community organizations. He was Geneva's Citizen of the Year in 2006. As Public Relations Manager for Seneca BioEnergy, he is responsible for assisting with our corporate message and promoting the business relations with local and regional stakeholders.
